It’s Father’s Day tomorrow and i just realised that my Dad has matured after the talk i had with my parents this morning.

My mom has been experiencing some conflicts with her boss to a point where she is thinking of resigning. As usual, we each gave our 2 cents worth to this issue and i suggested to mom that she opt for a transfer to another office in a different country.

Surprisingly, Dad agreed with me and to hear the words “the kids have all grown up” in mandarin was reassuring.

It is a baby step to detachment but like the famous words of Neil Armstrong, “That’s one small step for a man; one giant leap for mankind.”
