The morning started off nicely with a phone call from Old boy. He actually called me from his plane, 5 minutes before it was due to take off and I could literally hear the captain requesting passengers to switch off all mobile devices..

How sweet.

Makes me tingle all over.

And lunch was perfect with the very expensive japanese food i had with my mom. (At $50 a person, the brownie points scored with mom had better be high. )

But when it came to the afternoon…

The mood changed to a more sombre tone.

Sigh.

I have been requested to prepare a paper to present to some senior delegates next month on the legal considerations of setting up businesses in the Middle East.

Since i have only handled the Abu Dhabi and Dubai emirates so far, being asked to research on Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar was absolutely mind-blowing and excruciating.
