Save for the birthday greetings and couple of lovely gifts from my best bud and my colleagues and the fact that i had to go on course because there were no other dates available, this year’s birthday was a quiescent affair for me.
Someone asked me what I wanted for my birthday and I told her that all I really wanted was a hug from him like last year.
Instead, he gave me more.
He gave me his time.
