Diamonds are a girl’s best friend
A close friend of mine told me this morning that he had just proposed to his girlfriend of more than 8 years with a S$6,000 (0.5 carat) diamond ring.
And it’s not even from Tiffany.
Good grief.
I’m happy for him although i quite disapprove of the exorbitant amount spent on ONE ring but I’m sure he finds that she’s worth every penny of his.
Oh well, value is subjective.

A 0.5 carat frm Tiffany’s would haf cost 12k at least.
Still, tink it’s the heart tt matters the most. =D

GR - i also wonder when mine will be coming..
angel/shell - he bought the ring from Gold Heart! If it was for two rings, i’d say it’s a little pricey but still reasonable but for just one ring!??
dingo - if one packet is going for S$2.50, i’ll say 2,400 packets which will last you for 1,200 days.
